Dedicated
Dedicated is a first-person narrative of growing up into an artist; a self-criticism of a career interrupted by failures, setbacks and even 'malfunctions'; a journey towards familiar lands with a new map at hand.
Demirci's third one-person show hosts works in different media including video, photography and installation. The main theme of Demirci's Dedicated is the mark of a father-son relationship within the coming-of-age story of an individual, a relationship vaguely touched by the recent history of modern Turkey.
